![]() ![]() I don’t know how to adjust for underscan on the upper while the lower fits the screen everything seems squished tiny.ĭon’t really know how to work SwitchResX software but I did disable SIP. The upper screen ratio settings on the monitor is set to original while the bottom screen ratio is set to wide. UPDATE: I got both displays running by returning the crap DYNEX cable to bestbuy and replacing it with a adapter from Staples but I am having so much difficulty with the resolution. I tried DuetDisplay and it works with my 12-in iPad Pro but I need two separate screens to take advantage of OS X full-screen to view both google calendar and Microsoft To-Do applications. Im at my wits end with the troubleshooting and don't want to spend money on 2 monitors and a vertical mount.(also my desk isn't that large to accommodate that setup). I tried connecting my Raspberry pi using a Dynex HDMI to DisplayPort cable and still the same thing. I've also tried a Belkin USB-A to USB-C cable and it also doesn't recognize this port.but the USB-C to USB-C works mirroring my iPad Pro screen. I want to use the Thunderbolt port from the computer to the DisplayPort on the LG monitor and the HDMI from the computer to the HDMI on the LG monitor. I am trying to use the LG Dual Controller Software to basically split my single monitor into two monitors vertically using the Picture in Picture (PIP) feature to save money as I am a student right now.
